After few minutes when we were laeving the place , the Cop comes to us once again and tells us to be witness, we were shocked , told us that they had found a day old baby inside the church and wanted us to be witness just for records purpose. Milind came up front and gave his details.
there were two men there one of them was a priest (who found the baby) and also a ex-student of OLPS ; the other was a person who had come for prayers (who also volunteered to be a witness). The priest told us he was just leaving when a cleaner came to him with the baby which he found between two seating areas inside the church. The alarmed priest called the cops.
After Milind gave his details we thought it was done and we could go , just when the senior inspector came to us and started discussing the horror of the night, he was telling us that the baby has been sent to a nearby orphanage and is safe.

TweetDeck another great app , its an application for twitter users to use it on the go.
its a replica of the PC TweetDeck and there is not much difference.
Its divided into 3 columns:
1. recent friend activity
3. DM (Direct Messages)
and as twitter has started real time update of users pages, so TweetDeck also has the same feature.
If you are opening any tinyURl's or BitLy, the good thing is it doe snot open in safari or an external link, TweetDeck itself opens it so you are not leaving ur twitter account, which is a very good option given by tweetdeck.
Also, using TweetDeck on iPod touch seems to be much faster than using it on PC.
The best advice i can give is keep your username and password on "save" mode, and then see the difference in the speed of tweet loads, its really fast.

Michael Jackson's last ever documented video is now (29th Octoober,2009) finally showing after so long waiting.
"This is it" is a documentary of all rehearsals conducted in US prior to their departure to London, UK.
As promised all Favorite songs from Billie Jean, Give in to me, Beat It, Thriller, We are the world, History, Jackson 5, Don't care about Us .... All the best of the best
I wonder if this concert would have happened it could have been the most extravagant live show in this decade.

Its been just 2 days since i started accessing Facebook on my iPod Touch, i have to admit if you use it on ipod u will never go back to a PC.
Its simple to move around and has all features of feeds, notifications, inbox, everything u have on a facebook.com site; from starting conversations on facebook chat, to check friends photos and status updates or to even upload own photos on facebook profile on the go.
Only issue is one cant access applications on the app. there is no feature for the same, and cant even accept all requests of apps

I hope they come out with some Apps on bookmarking sites , really need those .... next ill be writing about using Tweetdeck on iPod Touch

application Take 1: Hanuman Chalisa
This app is compatible with both iPhone and iPod Touch. it was available for free for a very few days that when i grab it and now its worth $0.99 and many other variations on it too. Its available in 3 languages: English , Hindi and Gujarati is the only one available in free app :(
In paid one there is also audio option, its really worth for worshipers.
I was really suprised to find an app on Hanuman Chalisa, i m hoping they will come out with more indian apps, maybe like a gist of videos on Ramayan or Mahabharat.

Facebook @ Mentions is live and kicking ...
this is great , twitter style , make mention of your friend and the best part is it goes as a notification to the friend that he has been "mentioned" ; also it has auto suggest of as soon as you type @ and few letters afterwards, u get friend suggestions.
Moreover, Brands (Facebook Pages), events, and groups can also be included in status updates using the syntax "@" before the name. Auto suggestion also works for events, brands, and groups.

Can Murdoch save the newspaper industry by making people pay to read news online? is the headlines that read few days back in DNA. Rupert Murdoch a financial wizard, his very sure he can. But, there are people who think otherwise and are very skeptical of this turn of event of shifting right from getting a 50 odd page newspaper at your doorstep from your newspaper boy, to getting news online in real time.
Its been 15 years since newspapers have gone web , but they still haven't leveraged on it to acclaim on its wealth. They still haven't got the hang of it. Newspapers are as viral as it can be and the best place to go viral is online, where people starve to get news. If you notice the recent H1N1 flu hitting various parts of Mexico was first submitted on twitter in real time and since then my email has been flooded with precautions to stay safe from the viral flu.
A newspaper agency can save millions by transferring their paper online, as the man power will reduce drastically as it will save on newspaper boys and transportation, bu this will cause a huge unemployment for newspaper shops all over. But this is a huge step to be taken if u want to survive with your newspaper.
Having a online portal of news is not a easy task as it cannot battle with money made on Classifieds , but there are ways online that a newspaper website can make money like: advertisements , google ads, widgets , sign ups (subscriptions), rating, comments, and of course pay to read news online.
Online revenues have been stagnant since a decade cause of newspaper not developing its website. We get scanned sheets on a newspaper website and you can go comment and rate an article. A revolution can only begun where we can we can a REAL Time newspaper website, which is where a reader can directly contact with the author or writer of a particular article and share his views. You have to admit one does not read a newspaper page by page , so online we can have "favorite column" - to get feeds daily into a email.
In 20-30 years time it is unlikely that we will be getting any news on paper , its might as well we make our online portal a user friendly and maybe give it a Layout of a newspaper and use it to the most social media format available till date.

Ford has also been leveraging other social media tools, like Facebook, YouTube, and Flickr, to align with its ongoing efforts to show the people behind the brand
According to social media firm Vitrue, recently ranked Ford as the top social automotive brand based on its Social Media Index, which measured the amount of chatter across the blogosphere and social networks during Q1. Its Lincoln brand ranked second; GM was third.
Leading up to the New York Auto Show earlier this month, Ford announced its new Fiesta Movement program. It will provide Ford Fiestas to about 100 digital influencers who will develop content to appear on the eponymous campaign site and TheFordStory.com. It held a “Tweet Up” and had staff tweet to offer Fiesta rides to anyone in the city during the show.
Team Detroit, which includes Ogilvy PR's 360o Digital Influence and ad firms, helped coordinate Fiesta Movement.
Ford plans to put 200 influencers behind the wheel of other Ford vehicles to write about their experiences. They will include 40 bloggers in the tech and green spaces for a Spring Break program.
While Ford does not have a social media AOR, it often works with Toronto-based Social Media Group.
Ford's Strategy is to wake up and use SMM at times of trouble, would love to see them do something on more daily basis!
