Facebook @ Mentions is live and kicking ...
this is great , twitter style , make mention of your friend and the best part is it goes as a notification to the friend that he has been "mentioned" ; also it has auto suggest of as soon as you type @ and few letters afterwards, u get friend suggestions.
Moreover, Brands (Facebook Pages), events, and groups can also be included in status updates using the syntax "@" before the name. Auto suggestion also works for events, brands, and groups.

ReplyDeletehey - this was shut down intermediately for bug fixing - but now its back - but not many are using it - and facebook has not really made it public knowledge that it works!
